Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy governs the manner in which RapidMart collects, uses, maintains and discloses information collected from users (each, a “User”) of the website (“www.rapidmart.pk”). This privacy policy applies to the Site and all products and services offered by RapidMart.

Personal identification information: We may collect personal identification information from Users in a variety of ways, including, but not limited to, when Users visit our site, register on the site place an order fill out a form respond to a survey subscribe to the newsletter and in connection with other activities, services, features or resources we make available on our Site. Users may be asked for, as appropriate, name, email address, mailing address, phone number, credit card information, social security number
Users may, however, visit our Site anonymously.
We will collect personal identification information from Users only if they voluntarily submit such information to us. Users can always refuse to supply personally identification information, except that it may prevent them from engaging in certain Site related activities.

Non-personal identification information: We may collect non-personal identification information about Users whenever they interact with our Site. Non-personal identification information may include the browser name, the type of computer and technical information about Users means of connection to our Site, such as the operating system and the Internet service providers utilized and other similar information.

Web browser cookies: Our Site may use “cookies” to enhance User experience. User’s web browser places cookies on their hard drive for record-keeping purposes and sometimes to track information about them. User may choose to set their web browser to refuse cookies, or to alert you when cookies are being sent. If they do so, note that some parts of the Site may not function properly.

How we use collected information

RapidMart collects and uses Users personal information for the following purposes:

  • To improve customer service: Your information helps us to more effectively respond to your customer service requests and support needs.
  • To personalize user experience: We may use information in the aggregate to understand how our Users as a group use the services and resources provided on our Site.
  • To improve our Site: We continually strive to improve our website offerings based on the information and feedback we receive from you.
  • To process transactions: We may use the information Users provide about themselves when placing an order only to provide service to that order. We do not share this information with outside parties except to the extent necessary to provide the service.
  • To administer a content, promotion, survey or other Site feature: To send Users information they agreed to receive about topics we think will be of interest to them.
  • To share your information with third parties: We may share or sell information with third parties for marketing or other purposes.
  • To send periodic emails: The email address Users provide for order processing, will only be used to send them information and updates pertaining to their order. It may also be used to respond to their inquiries, and/or other requests or questions. If User decides to opt-in to our mailing list, they will receive emails that may include company news, updates, related product or service information, etc. If at any time the User would like to unsubscribe from receiving future emails, we include detailed unsubscribe instructions at the bottom of each email or User may contact us via our Site.

 

How we protect your information

  • We adopt appropriate data collection, storage and processing practices and security measures to protect against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure or destruction of your personal information, username, password, transaction information and data stored on our Site.
  • Sensitive and private data exchange between the Site and its Users happens over a SSL secured communication channel and is encrypted and protected with digital signatures.

 

Compliance with children’s online privacy policy: Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important. For that reason, we never collect or maintain information at our Site from those we actually know are under 13, and no part of our website is structured to attract anyone under 13.

Change to this privacy policy: RapidMart has the discretion to update this privacy policy at any time. When we do, revise the updated date at the bottom of this page, send you an email. We encourage Users to frequently check this page for any changes to stay informed about how we are helping to protect the personal information we collect. You acknowledge and agree that it is your responsibility to review this privacy policy periodically and become aware of modifications.

Your acceptance of these terms: By using this Site, you signify your acceptance of this policy and terms of service. If you do not agree to this policy, please do not use our Site. Your continued use of the Site following the posting of changes to this policy will be deemed your acceptance of those changes.

Comment Policy

  • All Rights Reserved: The web admin reserves the right to edit, delete, move, or mark as spam any and all comments. Web admin has the right to block access to any one or group from commenting or from the entire blog.
  • Comment Form Guidelines: The comment form must be filled in with a proper or legitimate sounding name and URL. Comments using keywords, spam or splog-like URLs, or suspicious information in the comment form will be deleted. Your comment will not be edited, it will simply be deleted in its entirety.
  • Links: If you are leaving a comment and want to point to a link on your own or someone else’s site that is relevant to the topic, please feel free to do so. Keep in mind, however, the link must be relevant and add value to the blog and its readers. This blog is set up to automatically hold any comment with more than one link in moderation, which may delay your comment from appearing.
  • Thank You Comments: Superficial comments that appear to be an attempt to get a backlink or get past comment moderation will be deleted.
  • Copyright/Plagiarism: If notice is received that a comment contains proprietary, copyrighted or plagiarized information, that comment will be deleted and the commenter may be blocked from further commenting.
  • Email Privacy: Email addresses are required for commenting, and they are not published on the blog, nor shared. They may be used by the web admin to privately contact the commenter.
  • Commenter Privacy and Protection: Comments containing email addresses, physical mail addresses, phone numbers, and any private and personal information will be deleted as soon as possible to protect the privacy of the affected party. To prevent such editing, never share private information within blog comments.
  • Attachments: If you want to post an image or a workbook, please upload it to a file sharing service such as Photobucket (images) or SkyDrive (files) and link to it in your comment. Keep in mind that your comment may be held if it contains links. Please do not post screenshots of VBA code — copy and paste the code into the comment directly.
  • Language and Manners: Comments which include offensive or inappropriate language, or considered by the blog owner to be rude and offensive, will be deleted. Especially irritating are comments that disparage RapidMart (while asking for help with a RapidMart product). In the interest of fair play, no personal attacks are permitted in this website comments. You may question or argue the content, but not attack the blogger, nor any other commenters. Failure to respect fellow participants on this blog could result in removal and blocked access.
  • What To Do If Your Comment Does Not Appear: Please be patient. Comments cannot always be approved right away. Please do not submit the same comment unless you think your original comment was not submitted correctly the first time.
  • Multiple Comments on the same Post: Multiple related comments on the same blog post (usually one after the other) may be combined into a single comment.
  • Irrelevant Comments: If a comment is irrelevant to a specific post, it may be moved to another post to which it is relevant, if possible. If no suitable post can be found, it may be deleted.
  • Comment Spam: Any comment assumed to be possible comment spam will be deleted and marked as comment spam. In addition, it will be reported to services such as Project Honeypot, Botscout and/or Stop Forum Spam.
  • Liability: All comments within this site are the responsibility of the individual commenter. By submitting a comment on this blog, you agree that the comment content is your own, and to hold this site, web admin, and all subsidiaries and representatives harmless from any and all repercussions, damages, or liability.
  • Trackbacks Are Comments: All trackbacks will be treated inline with our Comments Policy.

Payment Policy

  • Accepted Payment Methods: We accept payments via Credit Cards, Debit Cards, Bank Transfers, JazzCash, EasyPaisa, and Cash on Delivery (COD) for orders within Pakistan.

  • Payment Security: Our online payment system is secured with the latest encryption technology to ensure the safety of your personal and financial information.

  • Order Confirmation: Upon placing an order, you will receive an email confirmation with details of your order and payment information.

  • Payment Due: Payment is due at the time of placing your order.

  • Advance Payment for Orders Above PKR 6,000: For orders with a total amount exceeding PKR 6,000, we require an advance payment of 30% of the total order value before processing. The remaining amount can be paid upon delivery or as per the agreed terms.

  • Cash on Delivery (COD) Policy: COD option is available for orders below PKR 6,000. Please note that COD orders may be subject to verification calls to ensure the authenticity of the order.

  • Payment Confirmation: Once your payment is successfully processed, you will receive a payment confirmation email along with the details of your order.

  • Failed Transactions: In case of a failed transaction, please retry making the payment or contact our customer support for assistance.

Shipping Policy

We ship items out as soon as possible, but this will not always be the same days as you order. In general please add 1-2 business days to allow processing time. If we anticipate a longer lead time, it will be noted in the item description. If you have any question about the lead time on a specific item please contact us on our provided contact methods with your questions.

You should receive an email confirming your order shortly after you’ve placed it. If you don’t receive the email, please check your spam or junk folder and see if you can locate it. This is especially important because, if you haven’t received the order confirmation email, you also won’t receive the email with your shipment notification and tracking information.

If you are offered insurance but don’t accept it, we cannot be held responsible for damaged, lost or stolen packages.

Return Policy

You have 7 calendar days to return an item from the date you received it. To be eligible for a return your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. Your item must be in the original packaging.

If you wish to return or exchange any portion of your online order use support option in action tab available in orders section in-case of registered customer. Otherwise registered and guest customers can request to initiate a return by contacting with our provided contact methods to confirm that your product is eligible for return. We will explain to you the return procedure.

Cancellation of order

Orders cannot be cancelled or amended after the Order is confirmed.

Company or the seller (as the case may be) reserves the right to accept or cancel orders for any reason. You agree not to dispute the decision made by seller(s) and accept seller’s decision regarding the cancellation. Seller(s) also reserve the right to cancel your order in case of:

  • Problems identified by credit and fraud avoidance department.
  • Inaccuracies or errors in Product or pricing information.
  • Limitations on quantities available for purchase.
  • Products ordered for commercial resale and not for self-consumption;
  • Multiple items ordered at the same address;
  • Bulk quantity of items ordered;
  • Invalid address given in order details;
  • Any malpractice used to place the order;
  • Multiple items ordered using the same mobile no, email address; or
  • Any other criteria as deemed fit by company.
  • Any other reasons beyond reasonable control of Seller(s).

Sellers may also require additional verifications or information before accepting any order. Sellers will contact you if all or any portion of your order is cancelled or if additional information is required to accept your order. If your order is cancelled after your payment has been debited,, the said amount will be returned back at your Issuing bank from where the transaction was made.

Refund Policy

Refund process begins after we have completed Quality Check on your returned product. The quality check process may take 1 to 2 days from the date we receive the returned item. We will notify you of the result as soon as the quality check is complete.

As a refund, you can either claim a store credit Refund Voucher of the amount you had paid for your returned item or you could ask for a complete cash refund. In case of a store credit voucher, you can use the store credit voucher for a new purchase on the website subtracting that amount from the new total. In case of a cash refund, the refund based on the amount will either be refunded via an online bank transfer into your bank account, or via a cheque mailed to your address.

In case of credit card payments, refund can either be claimed as a store credit Refund Voucher or via transaction reversal.
